AFRICAN SHOWCASE MARKET GOING PLACES!!!
FROM BOROUGH TO BOROUGH
The African showcase market attracts thousands of people living in Leytonstone and also attracts people from far and wide.
The aims of the African showcase market is to promote diversity through commerce, and to promote the borough's multi-culturalism and diversity.
The 2006 market in Leytonstone highlighted the cultural mix that continue to inspire the creativity of business entities across the social and cultural spectrum.
The market which was organised by Kiskirine Events and and funded by Waltham Forest Council in Leytonstone was very successful and attracted a lot of local people. It was so interesting that the rain didnt affect the crowd. We had 35 stalls showcasing authentic african produce.
